Dual Exhausts Vs single??

I like the look of the dual exhaust set up and i'm sure it adds weight to the overall bike but is there much use for it on a single?

Which is better for power?

Why do the European singles run duals and the Japanese run singles?

The twin outlet systems are mainly fitted because of the noise issues...I think?!?! but I guess the twin pipe gets the exhaust gasses out quicker though?

Most of the really trick "singles"racing over here run two outlets so not entirely sure:confused:

I agree though, the twin pipe devil system is well nice:rolleyes:

I saw somewhere that the way the airflows around the bike at highspeeds is directly associated with the way the exhaust angle is, which i would assume will have the same affect as one exhaust compaired to 2 exhaust cans. I do know that my 05 R1 is the fastest bike ever, lol:D
