Looks like Myrtle Beach has final put the squash on all the bike rallies "Prohibit any event (permitted or non-permitted) in, or adjacent to, the city limits if it imposes an “excessive public resource deployment,” holding parties responsible for any public costs that result"

This is ridiculous, unfortunately I have seen something similar to this in action in daytona beach florida for an event called spring break nationals, a car event geared around loud strereo's and modified cars. Basicly the town enacted a "pull over ever third vehicle policy" for some reason or another they found a way to ticket the crowd the attended for years. Now the event is all but killed.
