Recently I ordered in a T.M Design Works rear chain guide. My path to this part was quite furiating because of the cost and and annoyance.

So first off I was rippin it with the stocker chain guide, seemed pretty durable with the 3 peice system, and aluminum plate on the outside. Well finally after alot of riding it decided to break on me. I dont know if it was due to riding with to loose of a chain or just from being thrashed off rocks and logs. It needed replaced.

So thinking that I would go the cheap way I ordered an Acerbis for $29.95. Worked great and kept my chain on for about the first ride or two, but then the bottom snapped because the plastic is thin and not durable. And with my luck this happened on a friday or staurday before and IXCR on Sunday. So what else would I do besides break out my hill billy side and jerry rigg it up for the weekend. I used like 40 cotter pins to stitch that piece up. It didnt work because that race my chain popped off 50 times (damn near literally) and cost me tons of race time and patience.

The T.M. guide is heavy duty and looks like it means business, with me being an avid rider who doesnt give a shit about what happens to my bike when Im riding (until after I park it) I need to have the most durable shit out there. The T.M material is just that. Buy It.
